I receive email listservs in my inboxes daily from most of these sources. Most contain lists of headlines and a few sentences which I quickly skimj. I save them in Thunderbird folders. I click the url on a few to view in my FireFox browser toolbar tabs, skimming most and reading a few. I bookmark all in Fire Fox folders. This takes one to two hours. I am also alerted to urls in emails from other persons and occasionally browse Facebook and Google+.
I provide url hyperlinks to associated websites, although I work only from the emails, unless the listserv takes me to the website. * and ** note those sites I find most useful.
LEFT, ENVIRONMENTAL, SCIENCE
I have learned to be selective for information that may be relevant for the more distant future, or implies potential knowledge I need. I also collect articles on specific issues, such as TPP or Ukraine, looking for new information.

These I signed up for years ago to see what the radical christian right were reading. I usually ony rapidly skim headlines. There are many repetitions between these lists. Imagine your world is these were all you read. Among the obvious lies and distortions is an occasional article rightly pointing out the same criticism of government as the far left.
