1 Leave a comment on paragraph 1 0 INTRO – DEFINITIONS

2 Leave a comment on paragraph 2 0 Do we error, dangerously, by modeling social/societal reality as interacting component Institutions/Organizations, such a Governments, Corporations, Agencies, Departments, Businesses, Universities, Armies, etc.?

3 Leave a comment on paragraph 3 0 For this essay, I will label them Formal Societal Systems (FSS).  These can be defined in terms of their respective semfields – the various texts & documents that define, describe, or legitimize them. They are patterns in the archives of our semiotic structures (sems). There are roles in an FSS, that at any time may host a living human, who are expected to behave according to the FSS semfield. FSSs usually keep detailed records, with different degrees of security. Most employ sophisticated technologies seafing interaction between members-in-roles.

4 Leave a comment on paragraph 4 0 FSSs are not “real” in the sense that houses, cities, and a population of persons at a given “time & place” are “real”. However, many persons treat them as being “real” – assigning them attributes usually reserved for material objects (including machines). Corporation, governments, or any FSS can’t be perceived with human senses.

5 Leave a comment on paragraph 5 0 Also, represented by patterns in reports/semfields, are Conspiratorial-Gangs, or CGs. However, CGs are more “defined” by their living human person components and their interactions than an records or semfields. CGs are “conspiratorial” in that they don’t advertise themselves and may take steps to hide or deny their existence.

6 Leave a comment on paragraph 6 0 Others can know of CGs only from reports claiming to be about them. Those persons who are members of a CG (some named in the reports describing the CGs) personally experience their participation in a CG, in different ways. There may be internal texts as partial semfields about some “policies & procedures” for a CG, but much of how they organize and act are “informal” & “secret”, stored in memories.  Investigative reporters may study actions of an “identified” CG, interview current and past members, and write books about that CG.

7 Leave a comment on paragraph 7 0 By “conspiratorial” I don’t imply groups meeting secretly, at a table, planning (conspiring). Basically, CGs intend to do things they don’t want others to know about. Planning a surprise birthday party is a “conspiratorial” behavior. All humans engage in “conspiratorial behavior with others” at some times in their lives.

8 Leave a comment on paragraph 8 0 A CG is analogous to a tribe within early humankind, but more fluid in membership. Members may have associations with other human groups. However, the primary environment of CGs are FSSs (Formal Societal Systems) and not the “natural” environments (trees and animals) of tribal humans.

9 Leave a comment on paragraph 9 0 CGs can organize with other CGs. I will label  an “organization” of different CGs as a “Cabal”.  My online dictionary refers to both gangs and cabals as small. Yet, our media uses “cabal” to label large associations of Mexican CGs. Let CCG stand for Cabals of Conspiratorial Gangs. The org pattern of a CCG will be a mix of systems and networks, which I label sysnets.

10 Leave a comment on paragraph 10 0 CGs can be conceived as parasites feeding off FSSs. CGs and CCGs  can influence semfields of FSSs. A CG or CCG can have members distributed among different FSSs. Some CCGs may be hierarchical, with a “top” CG. Others may be more open, distributed networks of CGs.

11 Leave a comment on paragraph 11 0 THOUGHT EXERCISE:

12 Leave a comment on paragraph 12 0 Is Putin the Prime-Leader-of-Russia (an FSS) and also a member of a Global CCG (GCCG)? Who else are members of this GCCG? What are their goals, objectives & strategies? Are there many (more than one) GCCG? How might they interact? Might BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) be more a GCCG (with CCGs from other nations) and not an emergent global FSS (GFSS) –  in opposition to the loose GFSS of the USA, EU, and other nations of the “West”.

13 Leave a comment on paragraph 13 0 Are we persons, caught in the battle turbulence of GCCGs, handicapped by our  fixation on “fictional” FSSs, being diverted away from what is “really happening”?

14 Leave a comment on paragraph 14 0 The Media creates-a-picture of “public figures” “playing-the-game” of the USA (a holarchy of nested State, County, Local FSSs – each with their CCGs).

15 Leave a comment on paragraph 15 0 Are the actions of Trump&Company and the GOP performing proper roles within the USA (Constitutions) or part of a GCCG COUP on our FSS? The Media, owned and dictated by players in this game, strongly avoid any mention that we may be in process of a coup, or something bigger & worse.

16 Leave a comment on paragraph 16 0 Did the FSS-Russia hack the FSS-USA elections? Or, did CGs, part of a GCCG, embedded in Russia hack the elections?

17 Leave a comment on paragraph 17 0 Peter Dale Scott has long written about DEEP POLITICS. Today, the term “Deep State” is bandied about by all “sides”. Might those playing “Deep Politics” be more a GCCG than a “state” (GFSS)?

20 Leave a comment on paragraph 20 0 ******* IMPORTANT DISTINCTION *******

21 Leave a comment on paragraph 21 0 (1) The secrecy within parts of an FSS
may be authorized by the formal “state”.
or
(2) Conspiratorial Gangs may force
the FSS they infect,
to support their secrecy.

22 Leave a comment on paragraph 22 0 Probably, a mix of the two.

23 Leave a comment on paragraph 23 0 We may be witnessing
a massive shift from
(1) to (2)
a shift from
FSS to CCG,
SYSnet to sysNET

26 Leave a comment on paragraph 26 0 TIMES ARE FAR, FAR FROM NORMAL!

27 Leave a comment on paragraph 27 0 Yet, almost everyone behaves as if these UGLY TIMES will soon end and all will return to “normal”. We are paralyzed and blinded by the multiple tsunamis bearing down on us.  OUR “institutions”, “rules of law”, “right mindedness”, “values”  will all come together in the near future and “save us” – or so we believe, in desperation.

28 Leave a comment on paragraph 28 0 If, while on a trip, your vehicle is having difficulties, it would be important that you knew whether your vehicle was a car or a horse.

29 Leave a comment on paragraph 29 0 I propose that we explore whether our assessment of our Crisis-of-Crises and our options aren’t severely handicapped by erroneous assumptions about HUMANKIND (both human persons and human social/societal systems – and how they change)!

30 Leave a comment on paragraph 30 0 This includes the need to explore
whether the deep issues aren’t
SYSTEMIC
without intrinsic moral or ethical value.

31 Leave a comment on paragraph 31 0 That,
the mind/brains of humans
&
their tech infrastructure for communication and organization are
SYSTEMICALLY INADEQUATE
to “manage” our “accidental” (unintended)
CRISIS-of-CRISES.

32 Leave a comment on paragraph 32 0 The default mode of humankind organization
> CIVILIZATION <
was too successful in GROWTH.

33 Leave a comment on paragraph 33 0 Humankind has morphed into
a malignant cancer within GAIA;
a systemic outcome.
No individual human person
IS TO BLAME!
EACH HUMAN PERSON, lives within their inner wrld
which justifies their actions.
WE didn’t freely chose OUR inner wrlds.
