¶ 1 Leave a comment on paragraph 1 0 This was initially an email, copy/pasted here and edited. It was in response to a request to cite an example of my writing to use as part of a “fundraiser”: this is not that example, but discusses the difficult selecting, or composing such a doc.

¶ 2 Leave a comment on paragraph 2 0 My most comprehensive doc on UPLIFT is my published Spanda Journal chapter, but this should only be reference, as it is difficult to read, and too long. I’ve written enough to fill many books, often in different writing styles – I’ve recently discovered. The past few months I’ve made many attempts to compose a short doc as intro to my “collective-insights-proposal”. Every attempt has spiraled off into a long, rambling essay.

¶ 3 Leave a comment on paragraph 3 0 What has emerged in the mind/brain of Larry, over 5 decades, is an alternative worldview I call a “wrld”, named “nuet” – associated with patterns of activity in my mind/brain. Trying to summarize nuet is analogous to time-traveling to ancient Greek times and attempting to interest them the implications of contemporary science. What do you say first? What preliminaries are needed for comprehension of radical conceptual schemes that contradict firm beliefs?  Sharing of this Magnitude/Scope/Complexity (MSC) requires a participatory educational process and much TIME. Yet, I keep attempting to compose that magical trail of words that will keep one reading until they have become a contributing author of the emergent story.

¶ 4 Leave a comment on paragraph 4 0 I never believed that I could compose such a system myself; that a competent team was required. I still believe this, but I still need a trail of words to lead a few others to join me in that team. This is what I thought I was doing the past decade. I recently learned I had been deluding myself and that Larry/nuet was too incompetent in many domains, and psychologically covered it up. More, I forgot those times I committed to changing myself. I’ve done this all my life, being fortunate to engage many positive opportunities; which I was fortunate to engage. Those opportunities have been absent the past two decades, and I’ve wallowed in unproductive routines. True, I’m attempting what a single person cannot do. My significant insights continued and the MSC of nuet increased. I wrote, posted, and email dialoged periodically. I rationalized that I still needed relative isolation, so as not to have nuet’s emergence truncated by demands of a team not adequately comprehending nuet. Although possibly a concern, very ineffective/inefficient working alone, over two decades, has left my mission unaccomplished.

¶ 5 Leave a comment on paragraph 5 0 Yet, a few weeks ago, recognizing the “impossibility” of my total situation (including minor dementia living alone in a senior facility, with a decaying computer system), I decided to give it another try – from my place here, to catalyze a spreading wave of processes that will eventually result in metamorphic changes from humankind to humanity, and dodge extinction. Why might I think this? Because the “wrld of nuet” contains an interacting set of insights from which “what to do” becomes clear and quite do-able; in contrast to the universal pessimism, today.

¶ 6 Leave a comment on paragraph 6 0 Searching my blog, I discover that I have yet to compose a doc specifically on UPLIFT, although I have described aspects of it in many docs. UPLIFT, as a conceptual scheme, prescribes a practical process to uplift an emerging population of humans with radically new knowledge and competencies, and self-organizing into sustainable networked communities. Whereas every proposal today fails to call for any significant uplifting of persons (in the wrlds of almost everyone, it is viewed as quite impossible or would take centuries). UPLIFT has the potential to organize the vast majority of humankind in less than a decade, a population that comprehends the “wrld of nuet”.

¶ 7 Leave a comment on paragraph 7 0 Larry has no ego involved; “Larry/nuet” need not be known. The extinction of mammals, birds, most animals, flowers, insects is unthinkable – not their eventual deaths, but that there will be no more births. The loss of the multi-millennial emergence of Humanity/Gaia, possibly an innovative and rare happening in our galaxy, is another story.

¶ 8 Leave a comment on paragraph 8 0 What I’ve mentioned, but need to highlight with fanfare, is that being part of UPLIFT will be JOYOUS for all – from the moment one joins. That experiencing UPLIFT  as joyous, positive, rewarding, safe, etc. IS ESSENTIAL to its success. The uplift movement is experimental HUMANITY, with a healthy futures imagination. I once analogized the precursor of UPLIFT, to a wagontrain of settlers-in-their-future crossing the Rocky Mountains, in winter, heading for a better life in California. Refugees will be an early population to uplift. UPLIFT will plan for “traveling through” a societal environment of collapse, without fear and negativity. Many “envision” fundamental change, but are silent on the process. The conceptual scheme of UPLIFT is generative, and becomes active once there is a team mutually comprehending. UPLIFT takes no actions to change humankind, other than to recruit new members – ONE AT A TIME, by special teams who know much about the person and who use a personalized approach. UPLIFT learns as it grows/emerges.

¶ 9 Leave a comment on paragraph 9 0 I’ve thought of composing short stories and novels describing UPLIFT (and its sequel: Up2Met). Without mental imagery I can’t compose narrative. I’m thinking of using “historical narrative”, as I did in 1974 composing Mission_2000: Mission_2026. I would invite others to write human personal stories linked to the scaffolding of Mission_2026 (which would also be continually updated, which never happened to Mission_2000). I need to put Mission_2000 back online.

¶ 10 Leave a comment on paragraph 10 0 I desperately need feedback and collaborators. Truely, no one ever comments on the content of my writing. I’ve considered writing in the query mode, specifically seeking feedback. The app QuickDoc facilitates commenting to small parts of longer docs. It was my forgtting that led to the abandonment of others proving feedback using QuickDoc. My QuickDoc articles can be found by scrolling down in the second part of my docs accessed in, but not within, my blog. In linking to the prior url I discover a 2010 QuickDoc, “UPLIFT in ABSTRACT” that I had forgotten. I have yet to read it, again.

¶ 11 Leave a comment on paragraph 11 0 Once I experimented with video interviews; even did a 10 half-hour episode TV series: Forward to the Basics. I can work on making a video presentation, although my speech requires attention to be clear.

¶ 12 Leave a comment on paragraph 12 0 Recordings of two persons in exploratory dialog should be a primary “text”, to accompany self-authored texts or videos. One person sharing with another should also be produced = ON YOUTUBE!
