Leave a comment on paragraph 1 0 04/07/2019 The crisis calling for this research has been resolved. I’ve had BMs and am home, recovering from a month hospitalization & rehab for a none functional speech/swallowing mechanism. At home I did a major laxative purge, resulting in moderate feces and a day of major discomfort.

Leave a comment on paragraph 2 0 My colon was not impacted, as I erroneously believed. Most of my food is processed into my blood, with only a small part into my colon. Mostly all of my tube food never included much to my colon. Why I imagined all that impacting my intestines is about my mind.

Leave a comment on paragraph 3 0 However, the research remains a valid request, as those WITH impacted intestines remains hidden. It would have been very serious for me. My PCP recommended I go directly to ER from rehab, before my surprising BMs.

Leave a comment on paragraph 5 0 04/04/2019 Fixing an impacted colon. I have had no significant bowel movement in two weeks. For the first 10 days I was tube fed slowly uniform food and water. This resulted in a long uniform turd in me, which will not move no matter after many enemas and other means.

Leave a comment on paragraph 6 0 Realizing this I stopped tube feeding a few days ago. I discovered that I could eat purred food, for full meals. This I did for 3 days, but have now stopped as this is only increasing the length of my impacted turd. I will continue drinking milk, juices, and water – possibly broths and soups without hard food.

Leave a comment on paragraph 7 0 I need research on how my condition can be treated. I believe the turd must be pulverized before it can pass. I am sure my condition is known and reported in the medical literature. I believe this will require hospitalization.

Leave a comment on paragraph 8 0 I just completed an extensive online search. I AM SCARED. My condition is avoided, with only reference to its seriousness. Maureen on phone, recommended drinking the gallon of liquid used for colonoscopies. I cannot believe the incompetence of the medical system here, at HavenHealth, and the online sources.
